Styling Faux Leather Leggings

I may be a little late to hop on board the Spanx Faux Leather Legging train, but I am finally here and I think I am in love with them! There are seriously hundreds of ways to style these, but here are some of my favorite ways of styling faux leather leggings.

Spanx Sizing

Spanx offers a really good selection of sizes, from XS to 3X as well as regular, petite, and tall length. I am 5 ft. 2 in. so your girl is always looking for that short or petite length. I have read a couple of reviews on how they definitely do what they are supposed to do and suck you in and fit pretty snug. So just be mindful of that and really look at the sizing chart for reference. I got a medium in the petite length and I have hips and a booty for reference.

Styling Leather Leggings

I think my favorite thing about faux leather leggings is just how versatile they are. I feel like every girl should own a pair! They are so easy to dress up with booties and heels or you can easily dress them down with some sneakers. I mean they literally go with everything! You can wear them for work, errands, church, girls’ night, literally anything. All of these looks I was able to create with clothes that I already had in my closet. That is such a bonus when you can add a piece of clothing to your closet and it goes perfectly with pretty much anything in there.

Quality of the Leggings

So I know that these leggings can be a bit of an investment for a lot of people. But I definitely think it is worth it and here is why. They are an extremely thick material so they are not see-through and you know they are going to last. I have had faux leather leggings in the past that were very thin and seemed cheaply made. The seam at the ankle came undone in no time and over time they became sheer. Based on the quality of the material and the sewing job on the Spanx leggings, I don’t see that happening. I will say, if you are looking for a more affordable pair and these are just completely out of your budget, I have seen a ton of girls get the American Eagle ones. They say they are almost identical and they are a fraction of the price.
