Over the years, I have seen tons of clothing rental options. I have honestly never considered them until recently. I saw a few girls that I follow on Instagram sharing about their Free People clothes they had gotten from Nuuly. And if you don’t know, I LOVE Free People, but I am also pretty cheap and can’t bring myself to pay Free People prices. HAHA! So naturally, I decided to check Nuuly out and see what it was all about. So, here is my Nuuly Clothing Rental Review. All my thoughts, as well as the pros and cons of the whole process.

Why To Rent Your Clothes
One of the main reasons I wanted to look into clothing rental subscriptions was primarily for the blog. I am always looking for new outfits to style and shoot. Being able to rent clothes monthly makes it so much easier! Also, it is more cost-effective for me. So instead of purchasing clothing though-out the month, I am paying a flat-rate fee. Plus I am getting to try out some of the brands that I have always loved and admired. These brands have always been just out of reach for my budget so Nuuly makes them attainable.
Another thing that I love about renting your clothes is that it is so much more sustainable and better for the environment. You aren’t consuming as many products and the clothing you are using you get to send back so it can go to its next home for the month. (DON’T WORRY though, they take care of all the dry cleaning to make sure it is clean when you get it). It is a form of recycling, reducing, and reusing which is amazing since the fashion industry is a big polluter.

What To Look For With Clothing Rentals?
Like I mentioned earlier, there are tons of different options out there for clothing rentals. You honestly just have to shop around to find the one that will work best for you and your needs. A couple of things to keep in mind when looking around would be the price per month. You want to see what is included with that price. So Nuuly is $88 for the month and you get 6 pieces of clothing. A couple of the others I looked at were a little more expensive and you only get 4 pieces of clothing for the month.
Another thing to take into consideration is what brands of clothing do they carry? Also, what style of clothing do they carry? Do they even carry the brands you are most interested in? So Nuuly carries a ton of brands that I was interested in like Free People, Urban Outfitters, Love Shack Fancy, Anthropologie, and much much more. (Check out the full list here) I love a more bohemian style so Nuuly was a great fit for me. They have a ton of clothing that fits my style.

I also love that it is a hassle-free return process. They include a return label for you to put on your box or bag when you are done. Also, if you fall in love with any of the pieces you can buy them at a discounted rate. Overall, the whole process felt like a win-win. I am so excited to pick out my box for the next month and can’t wait to share it with you guys!
