We have finally made it to the national parks part of our Utah road trip. First up is Bryce Canyon National Park! Bryce Canyon is one of our favorite national parks we have visited. So here is your guide to visiting Bryce Canyon.
Things To Do At Bryce Canyon
Bryce Canyon offers a lot of different attractions for whatever you are interested in doing. They have everything from hiking, horseback riding, helicopter rides, and much more. We were only there for a day so we only partook in hiking. We did the Queen’s Garden and Navajo Loop Trail which I highly recommend. This hike is about 3 miles long and is rated moderate. The trail goes down into the canyon so you get to see the hoodoos up close. It was such a pretty and enjoyable hike and is definitely one of my favorite hikes we have done.
Another thing I highly recommend doing is catching a sunset and a sunrise at Bryce Canyon. After we got done hiking we hung around and watched the sunset and it did not disappoint. But the real beauty is waking up early to catch the sunrise. Most people view sunrise at Sunrise Point, but I would recommend checking sunrise out at Inspiration Point. It is way less crowded and has some amazing views of the sun lighting up the canyons. It is truly unbelievable!

Places To Eat
Bryce Canyon has plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are a few of the hotels that offer breakfast with your stay at the Ruby’s Inn dinner. Some other food options would be:
I.D.K BBQ – I recommend this spot for lunch. They have really good bbq and sides. They also have a secret menu that isn’t very secret. It is written on a big chalkboard wall when you get there. I will say you do get a lot of food so if you are looking for a lighter option, you may try something different. We got this before we went on our hike and knew we would be having a late dinner so we were okay with a heavy option.
Bryce Canyon Coffee Co. – If you are looking for a cute little coffee shop with some good lattes, Bryce Canyon Coffee is your go-to. The employees were the sweetest and they even have pastries and muffins for breakfast.
Ebenezer’s Barn and Grill – This is such a neat place that we, unfortunately, didn’t get to check out. They offer BBQ dinner and live country music. You do have to have reservations so make sure you plan accordingly. And they also offer other options besides BBQ.
*Tip: Make sure you check the closing times because some places close early. Also if you are looking for snacks or anything else you may need while visiting, there is a General Store that literally has anything you can think of.*
While Bryce Canyon may be one of the smaller National Parks, the sights it brings are unlike any other. If this place isn’t on your bucket list, it definitely needs to be.
